MIGUEL (the event), 10 April 2025, Casale dei Cedrati, Rome.

Miguel is the first chapter of a long series of fashion surrealist films shot in different cities of the world by artists Alice Lipizzi and Marianna Di Majo Norante. Miguel depicts mute conversations between the five beings wearing surreal/absurd clothes and the abandoned city they inhabit. They communicate with a house consumed by nature, swallowed by wild leaves and vegetation. It is the end of time. The ghosts of the non-place are eternal and fleeting.
A sprite.
Nimble, mischievous,
tictactictac.
The lovers.
Desire, intimacy, fragility —
eternal yet ephemeral.
The twins.
Duality, they see time,
blind.

(to watch the film u need to wait, we are applying for festivals - but if you’re interested, dm me @strafiko)

The event is a foundational part of the Miguel project because it stems from the idea of wanting to recreate, in an interactive way, the world portrayed in our film.
We want the universe of the film to break out of the screen and take the viewer into a dream where silent creatures, places, costumes, and the magical atmosphere come together in a surreal and mysterious reality.

The film itself has been projected onto a portal designed to transport the viewer into the world of Miguel.
The portal is entirely handmade using fragments of seashells, supported by a structure made of wood and iron wire.
The screen is made of fabric.

During the event, we presented an immersive format that included a fashion show inspired by the short film Miguel, showcasing selected fashion brands.
This interactive element allowed viewers to get closer to the creatures of the magical world through a new sensory lens: the tactile experience of fabrics, shapes, and sartorial details.
It was an experience that intertwined visual storytelling and physical contact, inviting the audience to explore the allure of the magical imaginary through the art of fashion.

During the event, a collection of photographs by photographer Gabriele Colafranceschi was exhibited.
The series of portraits captured the places and characters of the film.
